Attention - The program has been put on pause
In light of legislative efforts across the country to limit DEI work at institutions of higher education, the EDC Diversity Committee has proposed pausing the ADRP to allow opportunities for guided discussions throughout the year to explore ways of moving forward that would be congruent with the ADRP's original intent while enabling institutions to comply with new legislation in their states.
The ASEE Diversity Recognition Program (ADRP) was created to publicly recognize engineering and engineering technology colleges that make significant, measurable progress in increasing the diversity, inclusion, and degree attainment outcomes of their programs. This is a recognition program and not a ranking program as it is possible for all institutions to receive formal recognition at the highest levels. Recognition is granted for units that are eligible to be members of the Engineering Deans or Engineering Technology Deans Councils at the College/School level or an appropriate level led by a Dean or the equivalent. This ensures that this program is in alignment with national efforts that exist at other institutional levels.
